Jarret is hard core and fights for what he wants. And he wants Maybe. No if, ands or buts. He fights for Maybe when she doesn't even know what she wants. Not only does Jarret have secrets but Maybe does too. Jarret is ever the protector of Maybe and proves that time and time again.
Once again Pam blows me away with this book and series.

Maybe, short for Maybeline (lots of fantastic laughs for this one) will make you laugh with her Gumption, spunk and her clever one liners! This girl can stick up for herself and is totally independent. But she falls prey to the Dark, Sexy and devoted Jarrett!
When Jarrett falls he is instantly devoted and intends to make Maybe his! His plan, make her fall in love with him fast and hard... make her need him as much as he needs her.
Then when they share their secrets it will not matter, because she is his!!! Swooning! #MadeMeCry #MadeMeLaugh #MadeMeSwoon

Pam does it again with a storm of emotions throughout the entire book Ashley@White Hot Reads
Jarrett is a dark and sexy cowboy that falls for Maybe short for Maybeline at first sight. Maybe is a sassy girl who does not take orders and stands up for herself unlike anyone Jarrett has been with. Maybe looking for answers but afraid to ask the questions when she falls for the dark and sexy cowboy.
The secrets these two have will not destroy the love they have for each other but the path to get there is defiantly a stormy one.
This is a great series and I cannot wait for the final book!!!

I just finished Buckled and I'm sitting here with my mouth hanging open trying to digest what I just read. Buckled is book 2 in Trails of Sin and you must have read Knotted first.
You guys! I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to do. How to move on. What will happen after this. Though I only spent one day with Jarrett and I can't imagine my life without more of him and Jake. Thank goodness there is another book.
Now, for the good stuff. Buckled is about a sexy cowboy who works hard on the ranch. However this is just the beginning. Buckled is layered with angst, heartbreak, mystery and so much more. I may have highlighted half the book because Pam's words are so poignant and powerful. I didn't like Maybe in the beginning. There was just something off about her. Then there was a moment when it clicked for me and I totally changed my mind. Thankfully it happened pretty early on in the book.
Jarret is the perfect book boyfriend. He's thoughtful, funny, swoony and loving. He is also demanding and hard headed.
We don't just love. We love hard, with every bone, sinew, and breath in our bodies.
AMEN! This is what the whole book was about. Loving and being loved.
My damn heart forgot that love sucks, that is scars the soul, tramples trust, and hollows out the body.
As someone who's been through extreme heartbreak this is a quote that will probably stay with me forever. However, it doesn't end there...
Love heals. It's a universal balm that repairs fractures, soothes pain, and stitches the heart into wholeness again.
Pam Godwin is a word magician. She creates a world where all can live and understand the trials and tribulations of her characters no matter where the reader is in their life. Thank you Pam for a 10 Star book that has imprinted itself on my soul.
I protect what’s mine.
The ranch, my family, our buried secrets.
Nothing will stop me from reassembling the life that went terribly wrong.
Not the law.
Not our enemies.
Not even Maybe Quinn.
The gorgeous, quarrelsome journalist shouldn’t have meddled.
I shouldn’t have let her stay.
But she’s hiding something in those deceptive blue eyes.
Something deeper than her thirst for a news story.
I make a deal with her to buy time.
To unravel her lies. To play with her. To satisfy my darker appetites.
When she buckles beneath my belt, I’ll send her away.
Unless I buckle first.
