"A fun, witty, all around feel good sports romance. My favorite kind of book." ~ Misty, White Hot Reads
After reading He Love Me Knot last year I knew going in I would enjoy this one. RC Boldt takes a fun lighthearted read to a new level. Although there is more serious undertones to this story they are not at the forefront, more just explained to give us a reason on why Ivy feels like she can never open her heart to anyone.
Ivy didn't have the best childhood but she never let it slow her down. She has two of the best friends she could ever have and a lucrative career helping others out, even if a bit unconventional. But man, where was that company when I needed to ditch a couple of people? Although she is adamant she can never give her heart away she isn't cold about it and we see her starting to question if she can have everything.
Beckett is one of the most swoon worthy book boyfriends I have ever fallen in love with. I knew he would be a fun character after seeing him in HLMK but actually getting to know him exceeded all my expectations. His absolute determination on winning over Ivy without pushing her, but understanding her, was my favorite thing about him. He is funny and charismatic, add that smile on and you have the perfect guy.
Don't miss this one. It's a perfect weekend read or even while chilling on the beach.
