Review Blitz : Eulogy by Rachel Van Dyken
Holy Smokes!!! I was not expecting all the twist and turns and bombs that were dropped from this crazy Mafia family. Lana @White Hot Reads
The anticipation leading up to Eulogy was worth the wait.
Chase is struggling with his inner demons while trying to prove that Mil's betrayal didn't effect him. The whole family is concerned for him and you feel for him. His pain, his hurt, his anger.
Then walks into his life the new, young hot family lawyer Luciana who has no idea what she has gotten herself into. Chase has no problem making her feel like she is nothing and not welcome. There is just something about her that makes Chase actually start feeling again. Can Luciana save Chase or will he be lost forever?
All the questions you ever have get answered in this along with a lot of aha moments. Well done Rachel.
Heather's 5 Star Review for Euology
The mafia is dark and dangerous - but when Rachel Van Dyken gets into their minds, she provides us with the heart and soul of La Costa Nostra - FAMILY! ~ Heather, White Hot Reads
Ahhhhhh! There isn't going to be anything eloquent about this review, because I've waited until the eleventh hour to write it. Why you ask? Because I'm so in love with the feels that this book gave me, I've searched for the words. Hence the insane brain dump.
Eulogy picks up at the end of Enrage. This means we're starting on the edge of a cliff. Praying from the moment we start that we're not going to break out in tears and drown our sorrows in a vat of PB Ice Cream. But alas, RVD saves the tears for later - at least for me they didn't happen in the beginning.
I screamed, yelled, typed and erased frantic and crazy messages to RVD and messaged my friends who were reading the ARC with me but yet was still frustrated. Because I need more. But that's the way it is. I always want more.
Eulogy is full of twists and turns.
There are crazy and unexpected events.
Heartbreak and love.
Family & friends.
It's the mafia, BLOOD IN, NO OUT

This was everything. It had all the feels.
It was crazy to see the monster Chase has become and the change he made throughout the book. When I pictured him, he looked like a monster, his face was distorted and he was dark, so dark. But as the story progressed and he let a bit of that go and allowed the change, it was amazing to see him come back to himself.
Luc! I just... her change was just as dramatic and awestruck! She went from this woman scared of mice to ... giving her life. It was powerful.
I still love Pheniox the most! But SO looking forward to Aundri.
