Review By Heather
Team: Austin Aces
The Player: Easton Wylder
Team Findings: Easton Wylder is a phenomenal player with extreme work ethic and drive. The hope is his injury will not hurt his long term playing ability. He is completing his PT on schedule and we anticipate a return in the near future.
PT Review: The Player is working to maintain mobility and control. He is determined to return to the field at no less than one hundred percent. We will continue with two-a-day training in order to re-evaluate his continued growth and health.
The Player: Damn PT. This sh!t is for the birds. I don't want this hooker-esque chick in my locker room. I need Doc. He knows what he's doing. Ugh. But I can't let the team down so I'll just have to wear her down.
Scout: It's not my first time in a locker room. And I can return it just as hard as they give it. Time to show these boys what I'm made of. If The Player doesn't trust me because I'm a woman, I'll just teach him.
Reader: Overall a fun, lighthearted read that takes us through a world of sports, life and love. Where we can escape to a totally different place and enjoy. I'm ready for book 2 to see where the story goes. I have no doubt the author will answer all of my questions... right, Kristy?!?
5 STAR Review By Lana
The Player is not what you think. It’s about Easton Wylder, a super-hot baseball player having to rehab his shoulder after getting hurt and his attraction to the ever so hot PT trainer, Scout Dalton. Sparks fly immediately but they have to keep it at bay due to the conflict of interest. As a lover of all things baseball, I was blown away by how real Kristy made the Austin Aces seem like a real MLB team. Kristyhas hit it out of the ballpark with this one. I can't wait for the conclusion. A must read!!!
Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.
So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.
Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.
And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play.
But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?
