RETREAT by Jay Crownover

Retreat was an unpredictable breath of fresh air, full of mystery, suspense and HOTNESS! ~ White Hot Reads
It's been an extremely long time since I've read a book that has taken me buy surprise on so many fronts. Retreat is anything but predictable. Cyrus Warner is an almost cowboy. He wears motorcycle boots instead of cowboy boots. He may live on a ranch and ride a horse but he isn't the stereotypical cowboy AT.ALL. Though he is the all the things hot dreams are made up of if you dream of all things tall, dark and handsome.
Leo agreed to traipse to the wilderness with her best friend for some time away. Neither one of them had any idea how their lives would change as a result of this trip.
"You make lonely look ugly and a lot harder than it has been these last few years."
Retreat is full of mystery, suspense and some serious HOTNESS! It made me think. It made me feel. It made me want. It made me reflect. Retreat was so much more... but yet such a breath of fresh air. It's different than what I've been reading lately and just what I needed when I needed it.
"What good is having an empire if you're the only one around to appreciate everything you've worked so hard for?"
